Imagination
Last spring I read about a special library card art contest the Great River Regional Library was putting on, and I couldn’t resist doing something for the contest (and it didn’t state that professionals weren’t allowed). Both for fun and to give myself a bit of a handicap, I decided to play with watercolors instead of my usual medium of color pencils to create an image on the the library’s theme “Explore, Learn, Connect.”
But then, between Covid and moving house, the library card contest came and went and my picture didn’t go anywhere (except to the new house). However, being in the unpacking/organizing state just now, I just ran across it and decided I still like it. Different than what I usually do, but I had a lot of fun with it.
