The fjord gleamed bright in the sunlight as the wind swept through the vale,
And the horses grazed in the pasture of the verdant mountain dale.
Music danced on the high peaks and resounded throughout the air
As the young maid played on her fiddle—
Bowed an air on her fiddle—
As she lilted a tune on her fiddle, serenading the horses there.
