Description
When I look at my reflection, what do I see?
A dirty, snub-nosed face, looking back at me?
The black, sticky mud, the brown-tinted water?
Or the face of what I could be, should my confidence not falter?
While the dala horse has come to symbolize Sweden, dala pigs are also often carved and painted in the same style as the traditional dalahäst, turning a creature with a slovenly reputation (deserved or not) into an object of bright, colorful beauty.
Image is a print of an original color pencil drawing by Rachael Koppendrayer, printed on 100# cover.
Each card measures 5×7 inches, and is blank on the inside. Envelope is included.
