Description
Originating in the province of Dalarna, Sweden, the Dala Horse (Swedish Dalahäst) is a brightly painted wooden horse that has come to symbolize Sweden as a whole. Do you remember the delight of the first snow? Some years it comes in October, while others not until December. Whether it’s just the first flurries one can catch on one’s tongue, or the first morning waking up and the world is blanketed in pristine white, there’s something magical about the first snowfall of the season.
Dimensions: 11 x 14 inches
Art is unmatted and unframed.
This is original colored pencil art. The colored pencil has been treated with fixative to reduce wax bloom, the natural rising of wax to the surface of the pigment. However, if the picture seems to have dulled over time, remove the art from the frame and wipe gently with a dry, lint-free cloth. This will remove the wax build-up.
