Description
Originating in the province of Dalarna, Sweden, the Dala Horse (Swedish Dalahäst) is a brightly painted wooden horse that has come to symbolize Sweden as a whole. Horses are both curious creatures and slow to accept others in their herd—a dichotomy that they share with humans. However, along with that, they also have the ability to form close friendships—again, the same as humans. This young paint and Dala horse foal will surely be making friends before too long.
Dimensions: 11 x 14 inches
Art is unmatted and unframed.
This is original colored pencil art. The colored pencil has been treated with fixative to reduce wax bloom, the natural rising of wax to the surface of the pigment. However, if the picture seems to have dulled over time, remove the art from the frame and wipe gently with a dry, lint-free cloth. This will remove the wax build-up.
