Description
Lily of the Valley has been prized for generations for the strong, heady fragrance emitted from such beautiful, delicate little bells. Though no native wildflower, it is a rampant colonizer of both home gardens and native woodlands, to the point it is invasive in some parts of the country. An old round of unknown origin paints them in a whimsical air:
White coral bells upon a slender stalk,
Lilies of the valley line my garden walk.
Oh don’t you wish that you might hear them ring?
That will happen only when the fairies sing.
Dimensions: 9 x 12 inches
Art is unmatted and unframed.
This is original colored pencil art. The colored pencil has been treated with fixative to reduce wax bloom, the natural rising of wax to the surface of the pigment. However, if the picture seems to have dulled over time, remove the art from the frame and wipe gently with a dry, lint-free cloth. This will remove the wax build-up.
